Dotacja Ryder Cup European Development Trust

PGAs of Europe Education Commitee będzie czuwało nad tym projektem.

Przedstawiciel fundacji – John Yapp Company Sekretery Ryder Cup European Development Trust – był bardzo zadowolony z wyników działań PGA Polska. Widząc efekty pracy Ryder Cup European Development Trust postanowiło przyznać pieniądze na dalszy rozwój PGA Polska.

Oto treść listu, otrzymanego przez PGA Polska:

"As you may be aware, the Trust met at Wentworth on 22 May 2007 and was pleased to confirm an award of 10 000 euros towards the training of tutors in Poland as per your application of 15 November 2006.

I verbally advised Marek Podstolski on 23 May 2007 and also the full board of the PGAs of Europe who met the same day in Wentworth.

I am advised that the R&A has also given grants to the Federation in Poland and we are keen to link with the R&A in general support of golf development in Poland.

The idea of this first grant is, a per your application, to train tutors and the intention is that this will be monitored by PGAs of Europe Education Committee who will be your link on this project and who will send me their costs for reimbursement to the value of the grant.

I was pleased to come to Poland to the conference at which we met in April this year and was impressed by the enthusiasm and potential for golf in the region. Hopefully this initial grants will be part of a long-term structured project to assist development upon which I know you work so hard.

Yours sincerely

John Yapp"
